HVAC/R Certification at VTI – Phoenix

As our climate continues to shift, people rely more and more heavily on the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in their homes, schools, offices, and more in order to stay healthy and comfortable. The need for trained HVAC/R technicians is only expected to grow over the coming decade, and they will need more advanced skills to adapt to the sophisticated climate-control and green energy systems that are rising in popularity.

At Vocational Training Institute in Phoenix, we know that you don’t learn how to become an HVAC/R technician with just books alone. That’s why we have our students practice and perform real-world tasks, like cutting and assembling black pipe for gas lines and wiring high- and low-voltage lines to heating and cooling equipment. All of this is done with the input and oversight of certified, professional instructors there to mentor you and show you the way. Our modern workshop is set up with the same equipment you’ll encounter out in the field, so that you can graduate job-ready.

Our HVAC/R Entry-Level Technician Training Program can be completed in just 20 days through our daytime schedule or 10 weeks with our convenient evening classes. We also have additional HVAC/R programs that include:
